North Carolina’s rich soil and tropical climate help our sweet potato plants thrive in the summer months, just before harvest begins in early August. Between our farming operation, Rock Ridge Farms and Boyette Brothers Produce’s packing facilities, our family grows great tasting sweet potatoes and provides safe products all year.
What we offer: Strong Relationships & Consistent Quality
Sweet potatoes are grown in the ground and naturally take a shape of their own. Our team works hard to grow, grade and deliver a safe and great tasting product that meets our partner’s specifications. We value the transparency and communication that we have with our partners and understand that these have been key elements in developing lasting relationships over the years.

At Boyette Brothers Produce, we know the challenges that retail and foodservice operators around the world face while marketing fresh fruits and vegetables. Consumer’s eating and spending patterns vary greatly depending on dietary restrictions, regional and social factors as well as the weather! That is why we actively collaborate with the NC Sweet Potato Commission to help educate consumers through research and promotional activities.
We regularly share nutritional benefits and creative ways to cook sweet potatoes that have been grown with sustainable practices.
As farmers, our family works through unpredictable growing cycles. Therefore, we understand the importance of reliable suppliers. Major steps are taken towards operating efficiently over the course of the planting season in order to properly schedule year-round programs. Our strategic inventory management has refined over the years to ensure a steady inventory stream all year long.
Our North Carolina grown sweet potato varieties are tagged with specific codes which identify the field location, date and time of harvest before going into our climate-controlled storage rooms. These standard operating procedures ensure that our entire inventory is traceable from field production to the day of packing.
